August 2010 congress elections

The august congressional elections are upon us and I've been offered positions on the candidate list by both EPIC and the DAL. I'm more inclined to run someone with EPIC as one month ago EPIC went out of there way to help me get elected to congress and succeeded. Not to mention the DAL's internal issues. Anyone who is interested just let me know, I'll set it up with Ozy.

I might be interested. I've never done Congress before, so it might be a fun thing to try.

Right on Storm! I'll contact Ozy about that right now. Things have become a little complicated though. severedhead went out on his own and landed a spot on the ballot with the UN. This is all well and good but we'll be splitting our support I suppose. I'm glad we'll have someone to run with EPIC though, they were very accommodating with me last elections.

How do you feel about running oversees? EPIC has a spot for you in Yorkshire & Humberside. Everything else is pretty well booked up at this point.

With the UK advancing back into there territories with the aid of France, parties now have a surplus of candidates as many already set in place in contested regions are looking to run on home soil. Unfortunately this means we will only be running one member of the SPeC this time around. As long as we are able to hang on to Trondelag that is.
Anyone available to move to Trondelag and vote for severedhead on the 25th will be provided with free moving tickets to and from Trondelag as well as food to replenish wellness and happiness. It wont set you back at all and it will only take a matter of minutes. It is very important for the party to hang on to a congressional seat so I strongly encourage everyone to vote! Please post below to request moving tickets and food whether your reading on the forum or in game. I'll be checking both.

Do to some unfortunate circumstances mostly in relation to our slow retreat in the UK we are unable to run a candidate for congress. I deeply regret this fact and steps will be made to make sure it doesn't happen again. There is something we can still contribute however so I'm asking that all SPeC members vote for EPIC candidates in there local regions. It will send a good message of solidarity, showing that even though we are not participating we're are still willing to help out a friend.
