September 2010 PP elections

Hi Everyone,

So I have put my name forward to run for party president. This is not something I was planning to do. My main motive in putting my name forth is that I don't want to see the party taken over by twits from DAL or some other equally damaging political party. If there is someone here who is actually planning to enter with the intentions of following a political programme, let me know here and I will consider dropping out. However, if I do win the pp election, I will advance the party. My main goal would be to oppose the horrible policies of President Rolo. However, I will contunue pursuing the worker commune idea and on recruitment. The party will grow under my leadership but the more ambitious ideas will have to wait a bit. so yea, please do not let this party be PTO'd and vote for me.

First things first I'd like to express my utmost apology for leaving the way I did last month. It was the last thing this party needed and I wish I had done things differently. Long story short there was a tragic event in my life and games were the last thing on my mind.

That being said I've decided to make my return to the party in full capacity and I look forward to working with you on the many pressing issues the party faces at the moment. I have no intention of stepping on your toes as far as the upcoming PP elections are concerned if you are committed to the idea that is. I gathered from your post that you may prefer if someone else was willing to step up. If this is the case I'd be interested in the job.

I have another suggestion that may work as well if your interested. My main points of interest are in operating the communes and recruiting. I don't need to be party president to fulfill these duties. I have access to the party org and I believe I'm the only currently active administrator on the forum.

My proposal is this, You go forward with your run for PP and win assuming no one else puts there name in. You become the face of the party, responsible for inter-party relations such as securing us a spot on the congressional ballot with a friendly party (a great idea would be running yourself, having our party president as a member of congress would look great on the party and I know you expressed interest last term). The ideology and political direction would be left up to you. You have many great opinions about how a political system should work and your not afraid to voice them in the face of establishment. I think this would be an exciting boost for us. You would have all the parties media tools at your disposal including funding for advertising and the party paper "the proletarian press". I would be responsible for the day to day operations of the communes and administration of the forums, masking new members etc.. We would collaborate on ideas on advertising and various other types of recruitment. We could call my position VP of some other variation of a second in command.

Give it some thought, like I said if you want this to be your month just tell me to back off. I have no doubt you would do a fine job as PP. If it is the case you would rather have someone else step up and take the reins I'm into that as well. Just let me know what you want to do.

I would prefer that you just ran as PP against the new challenger who I assume is trying to take over the party. I have no interest in being PP if there is someone serious willing to do the job.

I think we should discuss asking the admin to look over our party election. Either Nikitoo created multiaccounts and voted for him/herself or they are really good and mobilizing the vote. Our member ship jumped 8 people as did his/her votes. Either way I suspect massive shenanigans.

I think your absolutely right. It's pretty clear, with the jump in membership without a single forum application, that Nikitoo or whoever is orchestrating this has no interest in working with us. Or in the party philosophy. I've sent a ticket to admins, I wouldn't hold your breath on any type of correction though. Nikitooo's profile is also very suspicious. One look at his newspaper and it's pretty clear he was a resident of eIndonesia no more than a week ago. I've notified CSIS about him aswell. I'll update further in a bit.

at this point I think it might be worth posted a news article saying members of spec do not recognize the results of the election, and that you are the de facto leader of the party in the shadows.
